I recently stumbled across some photos of some St. Patty's Day memories! I love taking advantage of any opportunity to make my family smile. I enjoy adding a little unexpected fun to their day, and getting back to our Irish roots. I hung this banner I found. On Amazon and a few balloons to make it feel a little festive. it doesn't take a lot to make kids smile!
I always start the day with throwing a pot roast in the slow cooker, or putting together one of our favorite.
Usually the pesky leprechaun leaves a little something for the kids to do and some green snacks. He usually ends up doing something a little naughty like using our toilet (add a few drops of green food coloring, and using some washable green paint to leave foot prints). Trust me, your kids will get a kick out of that!
They enjoyed making this sweet snack made to look like a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end. I listed and linked all supplies here:
-Graham crackers
-Green, yellow and white frosting (or mini marshmallows)
-Gold sprinkles
-Mini brownies
-Airhead Xtremes
-Airhead Xtremes Bites
-Sour Patch Ropes
Happy St. Patty's Day!
Love,
Hollie
